This morning we were called in into the meeting room for a special occasion. It's the Boss's Birthday. Nena, the secretary had arranged for it. Unfortunately we heard that she met with an accident on the way to work this morning.She had made some collections from everybody earlier but unfortunately she can't make it this morning.
So we gathered at the meeting room. There on the table were nasi lemak, kuih koci, kuah talam ubi, karipap and the nice strawberry decorated cake. What a combination ... strawberry cake & nasi lemak.
The Boss gave a short speech .. it's in between the delight of having his birthday celebrated and also his despondent resignation's farewell. He had a short meeting last Friday informing the staff of his resignation. Well he is moving on to something else.
Well I took it as a challenge. The Company is not doing too well and obviously somebody will look elsewhere to prosper in their career.
Anyway, the Strawberry cake and the Nasi Lemak was really good.
